Football Recap: St. Albans Drops Season-High Score on Hurricane

St. Albans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 44-22 to the Hurricane Redskins. On the bright side, the 22- point effort marked the Red Dragons' highest-scoring matchup to date.

St. Albans' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hurricane, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Albans will welcome South Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Dragons will be up against the Black Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hurricane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkersburg South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
