Baseball Recap: Cloverdale Falls to Credo in First Game of Season

Cloverdale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-4 to the Credo Gryphon on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Evan Robledo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Damian Guerrero was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The win got Credo back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Cloverdale will host Willits at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Credo, they will take on Richmond at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
