Softball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

Milford lost against Bow back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans lost 15-1 to the Falcons. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Coombs, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Coombs' first of the season.

Milford now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Milford is set to take on their familiar foe Hanover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bow will square off against rival Sanborn Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.1, the Indians 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
