Baseball Recap: Woods Cross Wildcats vs. Lone Peak Knights

Woods Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Lone Peak Knights by a score of 9-8.

Alex Razee was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gavin Shupe, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

On Lone Peak's side, Tanner Walkenhorst made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Walkenhorst was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Trey Robinson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base.
