Soccer Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Liberty Minutemen. Heritage were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Liberty earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Heritage's goal came courtesy of Carlos Gonzalez, who's now up to five this season.

Heritage now has a losing record of 6-7-2. As for Liberty, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Heritage didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Glass on the 16th. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Amherst County on the 20th.
