Northwest Christian won the last time they faced Payson and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Northwest Christian Crusaders' way against the Payson Longhorns as the Northwest Christian Crusaders made off with a 60-37 victory. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Several Longhorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Omar Fierro-Nava, who posted 11 points. Payton Stuart was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Northwest Christian pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Payson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-16.

Northwest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-54 victory against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 4th. Payson has also already played their next contest, an 86-46 defeat against Gilbert Christian on the 4th.
