Antonito is 6-1 against Centennial since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Antonito saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Cordova, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Matthew Mascarenaz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Centennial came up short against Custer County on Thursday, falling 29-1.

Antonito's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-9.

Antonito took their victory against Centennial in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 22-2 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
