Volleyball Recap: Westside Falls Short Against Ranked Baptist Prep

Westside faced Baptist Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Westside's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mattyx Cureton, who had 19 assists and 12 digs, and Vada Watkins, who had 16 digs. Cureton is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
