Basketball Recap: East Carter Triumphs

Bunker typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday East Carter proved too difficult a challenge. They slipped by the Bunker Eagles 44-43. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Redbirds' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Eagles are ranked 115th).

The win made it two in a row for East Carter and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Bunker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-3.

East Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-46 loss against South Iron on the 25th. As for Bunker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-35 victory against Lesterville on the 25th.
