Baseball Recap: West Park Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

West Park was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Crater on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 17-4 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Ayden Deome was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Jayden McNeal was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

West Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Crater, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Looking ahead, West Park will take on Redwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crater, they will face off against Fresno at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
