Softball Recap: Mora Victorious

Mora took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Raiders 3-2 on Tuesday.

Mora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Mora has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Hinckley-Finlayson on the 19th. As for Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Moose Lake/Willow River at 2:00 p.m.
