The Red Land Patriots will square off against the Hershey Trojans at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Monday, Red Land was able to grind out a solid  victory over Carlisle, taking the game  5-1.

 Trey Wenger looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (five).
 On the hitting side, Red Land saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Luke Celtruda, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Hershey beat Gettysburg 6-2  on Monday.
 Danny Nelson made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out nine batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI. Those  doubles marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Bryce Erwin, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Hershey  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Red Land pushed their record up to 5-9 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Hershey, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
