Football Recap: Bluff City Comes Up Short

Bluff City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Mitchell Tigers. The Gray Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Raoul Jones, who threw for 65 yards and three TDs.

Bluff City's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mitchell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Bluff City will take on Sheffield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mitchell, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-22 victory against Memphis Business Academy on the 11th.
