Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln High vs. Lincoln North Star

The Lincoln High Links are taking a road trip to square off against the Lincoln North Star Navigators at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln High's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lincoln High fell victim to Norfolk and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Anwar Zandinan was handed one for Lincoln High, while Norfolk got theirs courtesy of Wilbur Anderson.

Meanwhile, Lincoln North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Lincoln Southeast. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Lincoln North Star struggled afterwards.

Lincoln North Star's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lincoln High, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
