Exeter-Milligan/Friend's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend found their leader in sophomore Keltyn Kirchhoff, who went 5 for 6 en route to 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Kirchhoff. Another player making a difference was Zach Vossler, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Johnson County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend will venture away from home to take on Thayer Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thayer Central is on a four-game streak of home wins, Exeter-Milligan/Friend a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Johnson County Central, they will host Weeping Water at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson County Central is facing Weeping Water at the right time seeing as Weeping Water is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
