Soccer Recap: Michigan Center Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hanover-Horton on Monday, Michigan Center came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Manchester Flying Dutchmen by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for Michigan Center in their meetings with Manchester: they've now lost eight in a row.

Michigan Center's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Michigan Center will square off against Jonesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Manchester, they are taking a road trip to challenge Greenhills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenhills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight.
