Nevada Union is 9-1 against Placer since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Nevada Union will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Placer  at 4:00  p.m. Nevada Union has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 25.
Last Thursday, Nevada Union didn't have quite enough to beat Del Campo and fell  9-8.
Meanwhile,  after a string of seven wins, Placer's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roseville.
  Paige Denniston made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  fired off two  home runs and one  double while going 3-for-4. That  double was  her first of the season.  Emma Herr was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  RBI.
 Placer's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Nevada Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.
 Nevada Union took their  victory against Placer  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  19-6. Will Nevada Union repeat their success,  or does  Placer has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
