Volleyball Recap: The Hawbridge School Comes Up Short

If The Hawbridge School was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bradford Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Herons lost 3-0 to the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions on Wednesday.

The Hawbridge School was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-10.

The Hawbridge School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

While The Hawbridge School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
