South Sevier came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 24 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Manti Templars with a sharp 13-5 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Navey Lindsay made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 games.

In other batting news, South Sevier got a massive performance out of Kinsey Parsons, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Lynch, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

South Sevier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in six consecutive contests.

South Sevier pushed their record up to 25-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Manti, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.
