Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Shayla Burchett and Emery Huddleston Lead Upperman to Victory

Upperman had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt DeKalb County on Thursday. The Bees were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The Bees haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Upperman was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Upperman was led to victory by Emery Huddleston and Shayla Burchett. Huddleston had seven digs and two aces, while Burchett had seven digs and two aces. Huddleston has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 23 times she's played.
