Softball Game Preview: Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans vs. Cannon Cougars

The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans will face off against the Cannon Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

After dropping their season opener at home, Cannon is headed out to face a Trojans squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Wesleyan Christian Academy came up short against Covenant Day on Thursday, falling 11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since April 8, 2024.

Wesleyan Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Emery, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cannon's offense. They lost 10-0 to Alexander Central on Friday. The loss was Cannon's first of the season.
