Ripon Christian took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over Delhi. Considering Ripon Christian has won nine matchups by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Brady Grondz was his usual excellent self, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Ripon Christian's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.89 points. As for Delhi, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Ripon Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Golden Sierra at 7:00 p.m. Golden Sierra will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 966th, while Ripon Christian is ranked 279th). Delhi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
