Jackson Tuetken leads Hillsboro to victory over Gillespie

The Hillsboro Hiltoppers won the last time they faced the Gillespie Miners, and things went their way on Friday too. Hillsboro took down the Miners 68-50.
Jackson Tuetken was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 15 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Jace Stewart, who scored 13 points.
Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Gillespie, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.
Hillsboro will head out on the road to face off against the Purple Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Litchfield and the Hiltoppers are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Gillespie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Shells at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Roxana presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Miners in Illinois (the Shells are ranked 235th, while the Miners are ranked 655th).
