After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bolingbrook, Plainfield Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Yorkville Foxes get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Plainfield Central might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Plainfield Central pushed their record up to 17-6-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those 11 matches. As for Yorkville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11-1 record this season.

Plainfield Central will face off against West Aurora at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Yorkville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
