Volleyball Recap: Largo's Undefeated Season over After 19 Games

Largo lost against Shorecrest Prep back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Packers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The loss was the Packers' first of the season.

Their offense was headlined by Lily Meloy and Jahelyn Torre, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Megan Pace and her 19 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Largo fell to 18-1. As for Shorecrest Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Largo will square off against East Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shorecrest Prep, they will take on Admiral Farragut at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
