Baseball Recap: Maysville Takes a Loss

Maysville lost against John Glenn back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little Muskies.

JAKE DEAL was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Maysville's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for John Glenn, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 6-19 record.

Coming up, Maysville will take on Crooksville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Ceramics at the right time seeing as the Ceramics are stuck on a three-game losing streak. John Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
