Soccer Recap: West Central Takes a Loss

West Central and Groton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but West Central had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

West Central dropped their record down to 6-5-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Groton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

West Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Groton, they will face off against Dakota Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
