Dow posted their closest win since April 20th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Midland Chemics. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dow is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Midland, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Dow will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chemics: the pair will be back at it again later today.
