Soccer Recap: Rockdale Takes a Loss

Rockdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Taylor Ducks who were credited with the victory. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ducks earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Rockdale's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Taylor, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Rockdale has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Giddings on the 28th. As for Taylor, they will square off against Caldwell at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor will be up against Caldwell's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
