Volleyball Recap: Holgate Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Holgate came up short against Liberty Center, falling 3-0. Holgate was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Liberty Center apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19, 25-4.

Chloe Mohler was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Holgate's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Liberty Center, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Holgate will challenge Arcadia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty Center, they will take on Wayne Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
