Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Comes Up Short

Carlsbad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roswell Coyotes. The Cavemen/Cavegirls were not able to make up for their defeat to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22.

Carlsbad's record is now 4-14. As for Roswell, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 3-16 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carlsbad will face off against rival Hobbs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roswell is set to challenge their familiar foe Clovis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
