Preview: Reedy Lions vs. Frisco Raccoons
Reedy is 9-1 against Frisco since April of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Reedy Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Frisco Raccoons at 6:30 p.m. Reedy will be strutting in after a victory while Frisco will be coming in after a defeat.
On Saturday, everything went Reedy's way against Creekview as Reedy made off with an 11-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Reedy.
Addison Daudelin looked comfortable as she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned run off one hit (she also didn't allow any walks).
On the hitting side, Reedy let Audrey Messer and Megan Lau loose on the outfield. Messer got on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run and five RBI, while Lau scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Mycah McClendon was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Frisco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 14-2 defeat at the hands of Wakeland.
Reedy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season. As for Frisco, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1.
