Preview: Spring Creek Spartans vs. Sparks Railroaders
Spring Creek is 10-0 against Sparks since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Spring Creek Spartans will be home for the holidays to greet the Sparks Railroaders at 6:00 p.m. Sparks took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Spring Creek, who comes in off a win.
Spring Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Wooster by a score of 43-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Spring Creek.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-14, which was the final score in Sparks' tilt against Churchill County on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sparks has scored all season.
The win got Spring Creek back to even at 3-3. As for Sparks, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3.
Everything came up roses for Spring Creek against Sparks in their previous meeting back in February as the squad secured a 56-21 win. Will Spring Creek repeat their success, or does Sparks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
