There's no place like home for Dell Rapids, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Vermillion Tanagers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Quarriers haven't had any issues with the Tanagers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Dell Rapids walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-9.

Alaina Wolff had an outrageously good game as she had 11 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Jocelyn Amundson was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good servers: Dell Rapids was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matchups.

Dell Rapids' win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Vermillion, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Dell Rapids will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Vermillion, they will host Ponca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
