West Point is a perfect 10-0 against Middlesex since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Pointers will look to defend their home pitch against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m.

West Point is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Gloucester just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 5-2 to the Dukes.

Meanwhile, Middlesex entered their tilt with Mathews on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Blue Devils. That's two games straight that Middlesex have won by just one goal.

Middlesex pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for West Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

West Point took their win against Middlesex in their previous matchup on April 14th by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Pointers repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
