Monrovia is a perfect 3-0 against Mooresville since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. Monrovia is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Saturday, Monrovia made easy work of Tri-West Hendricks and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Monrovia took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-6, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mooresville got the win against Terre Haute North Vigo on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

While Mooresville might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Terre Haute North Vigo scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-18.

Monrovia pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mooresville, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Monrovia took their victory against Mooresville when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
