Soccer Game Preview: Defiance vs. Celina

Defiance is 1-9 against Celina since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Defiance will welcome Celina at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Defiance fell victim to Bryan and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 6-0. Considering the last time Defiance couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Celina's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Ottawa-Glandorf by a score of 1-0. Celina haven't had much luck with Ottawa-Glandorf recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Celina's loss dropped their record down to 12-2-1. As for Defiance, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1.
