Flag Football Recap: Northside Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Northside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Howard Huskies 23-0 on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won three contests by more than 20 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Northside's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Myriana Evans and Mikaela Glover, who racked up five sacks between them. Evans is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

With the victory, Northside broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Northside will face off against Colquitt County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howard, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Baldwin at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
