After a string of 15 wins, Bonneville's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Skyline Grizzlies by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bees have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Bonneville got a big performance out of Carter Bowen, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Mason Park was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Bonneville's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 16-3. As for Skyline, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While Bonneville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
