Basketball Recap: American Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. American walked away with a 46-37 victory over Los Altos. American hasn't had any issues with Los Altos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

American can attribute much of their success to Shaun Mathew, who shot 71% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals. Jazz Singh was another key player, putting up nine points.

American now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Los Altos, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

American didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-41 victory against Irvington on the 16th. As for Los Altos, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saratoga at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
