Basketball Recap: Wayne Trace Gets the Win

Wayne Trace won the last time they faced Lincolnview and things went their way on Monday too. The Wayne Trace Raiders came out on top against the Lincolnview Lancers by a score of 46-33.

Lincolnview's loss came despite strong showings from Emerson Walker and Ashlyn Price. Walker posted 13 points and three steals, while Price earned seven points and seven rebounds. Walker has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Wayne Trace's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lincolnview, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Wayne Trace won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Van Wert at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Trace is facing Van Wert at the right time seeing as Van Wert is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lincolnview, they will be playing at home against Miller City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
