Volleyball Recap: Pine Ridge Gets the Win

The Pine Ridge Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Crescent City Raiders on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Pine Ridge was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-102), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 15-12.

Despite the defeat, Crescent City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bethany Robinson had 22 digs. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Pine Ridge's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Crescent City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Pine Ridge will welcome Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Crescent City, they will head out on the road to challenge Menendez at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
