Basketball Recap: Westfall Comes Up Short

Westfall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 54-45 to the Piketon Redstreaks. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redstreaks earlier this season, when they won 61-59.

Westfall's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Piketon, they moved to 4-12 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Westfall won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Paint Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Piketon, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Southeastern at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
