Basketball Recap: Alma Skates Past Eustis-Farnam with Ease

Alma waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Eustis-Farnam Knights to the tune of 58-22. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-11.

Alma was led to victory by Tierston Moore and Kamryn Scott. Moore went 9 for 10 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven assists and six steals, while Scott went 9 of 14 en route to 20 points and eight steals. Those seven assists gave Moore a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chayse Molzahn, who posted six points and four steals.

Alma smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Alma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Alma has already played their next match (against Hitchcock County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eustis-Farnam will challenge Overton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
