Baseball Game Preview: Ethel Tigers vs. McAdams Bulldogs

Ethel is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and McAdams an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Ethel Tigers will challenge the McAdams Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ethel came up short against Northeast Lauderdale on Saturday, falling 11-2.

Ethel saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cullen Rush, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave Rush a new career-high. Wes Jolley also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, McAdams lost 14-2 to Leake County on Friday.

Ethel's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for McAdams, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Ethel's way against McAdams in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Ethel made off with a 10-0 win. Does Ethel have another victory up their sleeve, or will McAdams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
