Basketball Recap: University Liggett Wins Going Away Against Cranbrook Kingswood

University Liggett won the last time they faced Cranbrook Kingswood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The University Liggett Knights took down the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes 45-28.

Cranbrook Kingswood's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Madeline Day, who posted 17 points along with seven boards and four steals, and Roxie Norton, who earned eight points and seven rebounds. Sienna Laverde was another key player, putting up two points and seven rebounds.

The victory got University Liggett back to even at 6-6. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

University Liggett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Shrine Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they are taking a road trip to face off against Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
