Volleyball Recap: Arizona College Prep Takes a Loss

Arizona College Prep lost against ALA - Gilbert North on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Arizona College Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Taylor Rother paced Arizona College Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Rother got some help from Katelynn Jaeger and her nine assists. Zoe Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Arizona College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Arizona College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Perry on the 2nd. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mesa on the 30th.
