Volleyball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Central

Valley View faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Blazers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. Considering the last time the Blazers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Valley View was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

With the defeat, Valley View broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-6. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
