Basketball Recap: Laredo LBJ Takes a Loss

Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Alexander Bulldogs, falling 79-55. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 893rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 65th).

Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Alexander, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing United the next time they take the court. Laredo LBJ will head out to face United at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Alexander will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
