Holcomb put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lakin Broncs as the Holcomb Longhorns made off with a 12-2 win. The victory was nothing new for Holcomb as they're now sitting on four straight.

Keegan Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kooper Tichenor, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Jairdan Shultz was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
